Customs issues holiday warning on illegal goods
(۱) A person shall not attempt to sell or offer for sale in a public place or place of business or to a person under his control any goods stolen or destroyed in contravention of this section (the “Christmas holiday issue”). 2006, c. 17, s. 2.
(۲) This section does not apply with respect to items that are for resale on or before Christmas or a particular day. 2006, c. 17, s. 2.
۳ A person who contravenes subsection 1 (4) or (5) is guilty of an offence and on conviction is liable to a fine of not less than $500 and not more than $20,000. 2006, c. 17, s. 3.
۴ An owner, agent or representative of an entity, or any of his or her employees, agents or representative광주출장안마s, who contravenes subsection 1 (6) or (7) is guilty of an offence and on conviction is liable to a fine of not less than $500 and not more than $20,000. 2006, c. 17, s. 4.
۵ (۱) A provision of this Act is not an exempt enactment unless it is,
(a) expressly exempt from the requirements of this Act that the particular enactment exempt from the requirement to be public domain; or
(b) expressly exempt from the requirements of this Act that,
(i) the particular enactment has been approved by the Board and the Board’s decision to approve the particular enactment has been subject to the approval of the person who approved the particular enactment; or
(ii) the particular enactment has not previously been approved, unless that particular enactment is to be the subject of a public notice of the Board. 2006, c. 17, s. 5 (1).
Effect of enactment
(۲) Repealed: 2017, c. 33, Sched. 1, s. 2.
(۳) In this section,
